The Bride usually picks her best,close friends as her bridesmaid,after the initial acceptance of the offer ,you would have to get a dress to wear no doubt, usually in naija it is the bridesmaid who pays for her dress herself but it is very ok if the bride decides to pay for the dress,it is however and that is the reason for writing on this topic for the bride to have a time out with her brides maid to discuss on the issue appertaining to the cost of the dress.This would go a long way to ascertain what the bridemaids are comfortable with as regards the cost of the dress.
