Buhari Fires Service Chiefs
After weeks of speculation and their fate hanging in the balance, the Service Chiefs have all been relieved of their appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Their sack was made known by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina, while speaking with State House correspondents on Monday afternoon.
The Service Chiefs fired include Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (Chief of Defence Staff), Lt.-Gen. Kenneth Minimah (Chief of Army Staff), Air Vice Marshal Adesola Amosu (Chief of Air Staff) and Admiral Usman Jibrin.
They were all appointed by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
